The Role

Owing to growth, the company is looking for a seasoned development lead to take responsibility for supervising the server-side R&D team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly talented individual to work at the cutting edge of software development and play a lead role in the evolution of the company.

The Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to an existing team of talented server-side developers
  • Develop detailed knowledge of ACD, cloud infrastructure and workflow technologies necessary to the job
  • Take a hands-on role in evolving the core technology to deliver improved scale and resilience

Essential Skills & Experience


  • A track record of successful development team leadership
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new things quickly


  • Architecture: Practical experience producing large-scale software solutions
  • C# Server Development: The ability and experience to program using multiple threads, an understanding of .NET concurrency issues, understanding requirements for developing scalable and responsive real time server code and experience of writing web services
  • Database (SQL and NoSQL): Experience and understanding of database programming, with good experience using at least one database

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • C++ Server-side Development: Windows services, sockets, concurrent programming
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies
  • JavaScript
  • Database Experience in MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, and MariaDB
  • Web Server (IIS)
  • Knowledge of the http protocol
  • Subversion version control
